Role Description

As a Principal Analyst II, you'll lead cross-team activities to:

• Review current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness.
• Identify constraints or opportunities that inhibit or can accelerate the business and technology strategy.
• Develop options/approaches to improve business outcomes.
• Drive implementation of solutions to achieve desired results.
• Lead and facilitate activities related to definition, development, and testing of new products and services.
• Gain SME understanding of current state processes, practices, and/or metrics.
• Investigate root cause of any deficiencies.

The Principal Analyst II is also accountable for:

• Leading activities that engage enterprise subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Tackling complex issues and opportunities requiring significant coordination across different business units.
• Understanding the problem statement or opportunity while providing solution options or recommendations.
• Identifying, socializing, and gathering necessary approvals for the upkeep of KRIs, KPIs, and Operational Metrics.
• Driving activities to develop new processes, practices, and/or metrics to address identified gaps or opportunities.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Leading on large programs to ensure business outcomes align with our strategy.
• Collaboratively breaking work into actionable stories and committing to delivering them within the sprint.
• Surfacing blockers, issues, and risks early for quick adaptation.
• Leading discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to facilitate business outcomes.
• Defining and completing critical documentation of all artifacts to meet project objectives.
• Structuring content and narratives to effectively communicate learnings, findings, impacts, and next steps.
• Using Microsoft Office tools, Diagramming Software (e.g., Lucid, Visio), and other technical tools in review of Banking processes.
• Leveraging Risk Management experience from a large financial institution.
• Functioning as the Subject Matter Expert for Corporate Trust systems.
• Translating business needs into detailed system requirements and technical documentation.
• Leveraging collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence.
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve solution delivery practices and tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Expert in process and data analysis within multiple domains.
• Experience working as a SME across several domains or functional areas.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into comprehensive system requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and QA team members.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Occasional travel required.
