[Hiring] Planner Scheduler Level 3 @Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC

Role Description

WECTEC is looking for someone to join the project Scheduling & Planning group for the Engineering and Construction Division located in Juno Beach, Florida. You will work directly with the Project Originators, Developers, Engineers, Early Stage Managers, and Construction Managers supporting the development, engineering, and construction of all energy technologies. Examples of projects include but are not limited to those on Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substations, Pipelines, Combine Cycles, etc.

• Manage the creation, maintenance, and progress of project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare monthly reports for construction projects comparing the baseline approved schedule to the progress schedule, including:
  • Critical path method
  • Resource loading
  • Cost loading
  • Workforce
  • Submittals
  • Projections of impacts
  • Recovery plans
• Support all technologies and work with several working teams to guide project success through the entire life cycle.
• Develop accurate schedules, coordinate diverse meetings, and report to management for an impressive portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or similar field.
• Team player with the ability to work with all project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints to be included within the plan and schedule.
• Maintain a positive attitude and develop strong working relationships with all team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Schedule and lead Review Meetings with all project participants to coordinate requirements ensuring resources are focused on the right project activities.
• 3+ years of Scheduling experience is desired, or alternatively, 4+ years of experience in Project Management tracking project plans against schedule baselines and performing ad-hoc analyses.
