Role Description
This role involves managing client migrations to QuickBooks Online (QBO) and ensuring a smooth transition from legacy financial systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Provide comfort and ease to clients throughout the migration process
- Proactively plan capacity and workload
- Approve team members' vacation and time off
- Train new hires
- Create and meet deadlines
- Delegate workload effectively
- Conduct performance reviews and planning
- Review employee output and ensure quality control
- Define service responsibilities between the team and software partners
- Make judgment calls on time needed for tasks and update systems accordingly
- Utilize performance management software (Karbon preferred)
- Engage in team workflow processes using workflow software
- Organize upcoming dates and communicate with involved parties
- Ensure timely completion of client work
- Contribute to innovation and improvement of processes
- Develop professional development plans for team members
- Assign work and oversee training cycles
- Collaborate with the Lead on assessing team members' work quality
- Mentor the team and encourage ownership of duties
- Be accessible to the team to ensure excellent client service
- Coordinate with service/software partners and clients on migration expectations
- Update clients on progress and roadblocks
- Collaborate with all levels of the firm
