Role Description

This manager role involves managing all aspects of project management related to product changes on multiple brands at Kendo. This individual is responsible for managing assigned projects and supporting the Director in leading project teams and ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of product change initiatives.

  • Support all change management project plans while considering the business objective.
  • Support the team in executing all project launch timelines.
  • Assist in overseeing the associated product change management scope.
  • Balance the needs of cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining a holistic view of business objectives and change management principles.
  • Possess strong collaboration skills and contribute effectively within a team environment.
  • Adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans for managing product changes, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Own assigned projects and proactively prevent foreseeable issues while keeping synergy among partners.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting project timelines and objectives.
  • Independently manage projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of all product change initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across departments such as R&D, engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality assurance.
  • Identify potential risks associated with product changes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners or suppliers.
  • Assist in allocating resources effectively across different projects based on priority and strategic importance.
  • Ensure all product changes adhere to relevant industry regulations, standards, safety requirements, and quality control measures.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization within the product change management function.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree required
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as Asana or Smartsheet.
  • Minimum 5+ years of combined experience in Project Management, Change Management, Supply Chain Planning, or related business fields.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related work experience leading New Production Launches (NPI) projects (Cosmetic Industry preferred).
  • Good understanding of supply chain principles and practices including procurement, manufacturing process, quality control procedures, logistics, inventory management, supplier relationship management, and distribution processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in business financial analysis including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, financial modeling skills using tools like Excel.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution with highly focused attention to detail.
