[Hiring] Manager, Location Partnerships @Happy Returns LLC

Role Description

The Manager, Location Partnerships will own the day-to-day performance and operational health of the Return Bar network. This role is responsible for monitoring and improving location-level performance, managing escalations across internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Return Bar Performance & Network Health
  • Own day-to-day performance of Return Bar locations, ensuring strong execution across key metrics.
  • Develop and enhance performance tracking and reporting; proactively identify and address performance deviations.
• Escalation Management & Issue Resolution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations from Hubs (operational issues) and CX/CSM (customer issues).
  • Establish feedback loops to ensure recurring issues are addressed through durable process or product improvements.
• Field Operations & Site Audits
  • Conduct regular Return Bar visits (both scheduled and “secret shopper”) to assess execution and customer experience.
  • Develop and standardize a repeatable framework for site visits and audits.
  • Synthesize findings into actionable insights and share with internal teams and partners.
  • Translate field insights into actionable recommendations that improve efficiency, accuracy, and partner experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree.
• 2-5 years of experience in operations, consulting, logistics, or a similar fast-paced, execution-oriented environment.
• Experience working in cross-functional or partner-facing roles preferred.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and comfort working with operational data and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong project and program management skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, manage multiple workstreams, and drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a bias toward action and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence skills.
