[Hiring] Internal Project Manager / Risk Manager @GE Vernova

As a Internal Project Manager & Risk Manager within GE Vernova's North America Grid Solutions Integration (NAM GSI) Behind the Meter (BTM) portfolio, you will:

• Drive execution discipline and operational efficiency across complex energy infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with Senior Project Managers/Project Directors to strengthen internal project execution.
• Champion the adoption of digital and AI-driven solutions to simplify processes and enhance project visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, project controls, or project execution roles, preferably within power, grid, energy or EPC environment.
• Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the time based on business needs.
• Experience supporting complex projects involving factory-manufactured equipment and cross-functional teams.
• Strong foundation in project management principles: schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and attention to data integrity.
• Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive alignment.

Requirements

• Lead and coordinate the risk and opportunity management process across an assigned group of projects.
• Own the accuracy, completeness, and timely updates of Risk & Opportunity Registers.
• Consolidate project-level risk data to deliver a clear sub-portfolio view of exposure, trends, and potential financial and schedule impacts.
• Monitor mitigation and opportunity realization actions, ensuring clear ownership and follow-up.
• Prepare and maintain risk dashboards and summaries to support leadership decisions and portfolio reviews.
• Support budget tracking, commitments, and actuals in coordination with the Project Controller.
• Assist with Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, internal financial reporting, and change management documentation.
• Champion the adoption of AI and digital tools in project management.
• Drive lessons learned, best practices, process adherence, continuous improvement, and standardization initiatives across the portfolio.
• Serve as a key internal coordination point between project teams and factories for manufacturing follow-up.
