[Hiring] Implementation Project Manager @BlueSkye

Role Description

The BlueSkye Project Management team is responsible for managing engineered solutions, robotics, and automation projects for our customers. The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing project deliverables within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.

• Align with sales and application/solutions team to identify high-level requirements & all impacted stakeholder groups.
• Lead project Kickoff with internal & external resources and customer.
• Lead internal and external project teams to safely complete project-related work within the established timeline and targets.
• Manage/tracks actuals, cashflow, and forecasted spend.
• Ensure scope is managed and changes follow the PMO change management protocols.
• Ensure project deliverables achieve expected outcomes.
• Proactively identify and resolve problems; manage issue/risk processes.
• Establish communication plans and ensure all stakeholders are informed/engaged.
• Partner with stakeholders to integrate change management best practices.
• Bring together a group of people to chart out the best possible course for the project.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through successful achievement of final acceptance and handover to aftermarket/service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, General Business, Management, or similar studies.
• Preferred: Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in Project Management and leading medium to large projects.
• Experience running multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion.
• Knowledge of logistics & material handling robotics and automation projects.
• 2+ years in a client or senior stakeholder facing role.
• Exposure to Lean / continuous improvement, Health & Safety, and PMI / Agile methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to project sites as necessary.
• Preferred location Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA but open to considering remote candidates.

Requirements

• Preferred certifications: PMI/PMP, PMI/ACP.
• Current and valid driver’s license must be maintained.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of formulas and data analysis).
• Intermediate skills with team productivity tools (SharePoint, Smartsheet).
• Exposure to or willingness to learn and use Project Management Tools (Monday.com).
