[Hiring] Head of Operations Germany & Austria (E-MOBILITY) @Eni

Role Description

Plenitude On The Road (POTR) is seeking a Head of Operations in E-Mobility to coordinate the operations of its EV charging network in the DAT area. You will be part of the Germany & Austria Region (DAT) and the Operations Team based in Germany and Austria, with availability for site visits across these countries and occasional meetings at POTR headquarters in Italy and at regional offices in Germany and Austria.

You will interact closely with the Backend and Operations teams based in Milan, with regular alignment with the Head of Operations in Milan. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of charging stations in the DAT area by:

• Monitoring operations
• Providing technical support
• Performing remote diagnostics
• Managing anomalies in line with contractual SLAs
• Coordinating on-site maintenance and repair activities
• Overseeing both scheduled and corrective maintenance
• Managing spare parts procurement
• Contributing to the development of service processes and technical documentation

You will lead a small operations team in Austria and Germany, reporting directly to the Country Manager Germany & Austria.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Relevant professional experience in operations, field service, or technical maintenance, ideally within e-mobility, energy infrastructure, or similar industries
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and site electrical plans within MV/LV infrastructure environments
• Experience managing external service providers, contractors, and technical partners
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Austria
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken); Italian is an advantage
• Strong self-management and organisational skills
• Proficiency in presentations, reporting, and Microsoft Office tools

Requirements

• Availability for off-hours calls and operational assignments when required
• Proven ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with IT systems, telecom infrastructure, remote monitoring platforms, or e-mobility technologies is highly valued
