Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Unit Manager to lead and oversee our equipment installation division. This role is responsible for new business development, strategic planning, operational management, team leadership, and financial performance within the business unit.
- Initiates new business opportunities with current client portfolio and new business development.
- Maintains Business Unit customer relationship management tool in Quickbase.
- Updates project status and completion dates in database weekly.
- Works with Accounts Receivable to monitor Business Unit weekly/monthly billings and collections.
- Reviews monthly financial and operational performance of the Business Unit and completes monthly business unit reports for review with management.
- Leads team in a thoughtful and motivating manner.
- Sets and leads by example. Builds Business Unit team from Project Manager down.
- Attends all mandatory company or client meetings.
- Holds weekly calls with team.
- Prepares and delivers weekly operational reports.
- Works with Marketing Manager to maintain budget for business unit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in equipment installation, construction, or industrial services.
- At least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Expertise in installation processes, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience working with industrial, medical, or specialized equipment installation preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
Requirements
- $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 annual compensation.
- Annual commission.

- 25% travel required.
