[Hiring] Director of EPD Operations @Webflow

Role Description

We're looking for a Director of EPD Operations to run the operating system for Webflow's Engineering, Product & Design (EPD) organization. You'll own how EPD plans, tracks, launches, and reports on its work, and you'll make that system faster every quarter, increasingly with AI agents doing the repetitive parts. You'll report to the Chief Product Officer, sit on EPD Leadership, and lead a small, high-leverage team of program managers, technical program managers, and agentic engineers.

This role is for an operator who builds. You care about rituals and rigor, but you measure success by one thing: whether EPD ships more customer value, faster and more reliably.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical program management, engineering or product operations, or chief-of-staff roles at a software company, with at least 4 years leading teams.
• A track record of running planning, OKRs, and operating cadence for an EPD org of several hundred people, and of making that system simpler over time.
• Experience owning launch readiness or release governance for a SaaS product, including coordinating major launches with GTM.
• Strong executive presence. You can run a room of VPs, synthesize a messy debate into a decision, and write a board-ready update.
• Hands-on AI fluency. You use AI tools and agents in your own daily work, and you've led or sponsored automation that removed real operational toil and got adopted.
• Fluency with engineering and product tooling (Linear, Jira, Confluence, Slack, data/BI tools), and the judgment to change tools only when it pays off.
• Comfort with ambiguity and frequent change. You can re-plan quickly after a reorg or a strategy shift without losing the thread.
• Clear, concise communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.

• Own the leadership and org-wide rituals that keep a multi-pillar EPD org aligned: weekly EPD Leadership, pillar lead reviews, quarterly all-hands, offsites, and protected builder time.
• Own planning, OKRs, and roadmap health.
• Tell EPD's story to leadership and the board.
• Own launch readiness and release governance.
• Run alpha and beta programs.
• Improve the product development lifecycle.
• Lead EPD's internal AI and tooling roadmap.
• Be the bridge to Finance and GTM.
• Build and lead the team.
