[Hiring] Delivery Manager @Kraken

As we enter a stage of rapid commercialisation and growth, we're looking for a Generation Flex Delivery Manager to own the successful onboarding of flexible generation and energy assets onto KrakenFlex across the EU. This is a customer-facing delivery role with a strong technical bias. You'll manage an asset through the full onboarding journey, from:

• Initial discovery and technical analysis
• Site design and gateway installation
• Commissioning, testing and handover into live service

Your role is to bring together three perspectives throughout onboarding:

• Customer: What is the customer trying to achieve, and what do we need from them?
• Product: How will the asset operate within KrakenFlex, and what product capabilities and configuration are required?
• Engineering: How does the physical asset need to be integrated, connected and commissioned to make that solution work?

Qualifications

• A strong technical background and the confidence to work closely with electrical, control systems, and networking.
• The ability to read and understand an Electrical Single Line Diagram (SLD) and use it to understand the electrical architecture of a site.
• A practical understanding of industrial networking and communications, including concepts such as IP addressing, LANs, routers, switches, VPNs and site connectivity.
• Enough electrical engineering knowledge to understand concepts such as metering, breakers, transformers, generators, inverters, batteries and asset control systems.
• Experience delivering technical projects involving the integration, commissioning or onboarding of physical assets, ideally within energy, renewables, utilities, industrial automation, controls or a similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take a complicated technical problem and clearly explain the issue, impact, owner and next action.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and dependencies across customers, Electrical Engineering, hardware, installation partners and other third parties.
• A highly organised approach to delivery, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple sites at different stages of onboarding simultaneously.
• The ability to proactively identify risk, remove blockers and maintain momentum in an environment where customer readiness and site timelines can change quickly.
• A customer-centric mindset and a drive to provide an outstanding onboarding experience without compromising technical quality.
• A pragmatic, collaborative approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment where processes and products are still evolving.
• A strong interest in understanding how a SaaS product works end-to-end, rather than treating the software platform as a black box.
• A drive to get things done in a collaborative, agile environment, comfortable navigating the complexity and comfortable being the regional face of site onboarding function.
• Professional fluency in English. A second European language would be preferable.

Requirements

• Own the end-to-end onboarding and delivery of Generation Flex assets BESS (grid-scale and C&I) and RES (Wind and Solar).
• Build a strong understanding of the Generation Flex product and SaaS platform.
• Understand how the physical site and its electrical/control systems connect into the KrakenFlex software architecture.
• Work closely with Product and Software Engineering teams to understand the relevant GenFlex capabilities, product modules, configuration requirements and technical constraints for each customer and asset.
• Translate between customer requirements, electrical engineering requirements and SaaS/product requirements.
• Ensure that the customer's intended use of the GenFlex product is reflected in the technical onboarding solution.
• Be able to explain to customers how their site will interact with KrakenFlex.
• Work with Product teams to identify where customer or asset requirements do not fit current product capabilities.
• Feed recurring onboarding challenges, customer requirements and technical integration pain points back into Product and Engineering teams.
• Be the primary delivery point of contact for customers during site onboarding.
• Review and interpret customer technical documentation including Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), network and communications diagrams, site and asset specifications, and more.
• Identify missing, inconsistent or technically unclear customer information early and drive it to resolution.
• Coordinate the preparation and review of Kraken integration documentation.
• Coordinate the Kraken Gateway delivery and installation process.
• Manage readiness for key commissioning and testing activities.
• Proactively manage delivery risks and communicate issues and mitigation plans clearly.
• Maintain clear visibility of the status and health of each site.
• Continuously improve the Generation Flex onboarding process.

Benefits

• Experience in flexible generation, battery storage, renewable energy, demand response or distributed energy resources.
• A working understanding of industrial communication protocols and controlled environments would be helpful.
• Experience commissioning or integrating generators, BESS, solar, EV infrastructure or other industrial energy assets.
• Previous experience working with grid-connected assets, control systems or energy market services.
• Experience with SaaS implementation, technical product onboarding or systems integration.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and the distinction between cold commissioning, energisation and hot commissioning.
• Experience with industrial gateways, edge devices or IoT connectivity.
