Role Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resources, equipment, meetings, and information, working closely with the field Construction Project Management teams, third-party consultants, and colleagues across departments, to keep projects organized, on time, and within budget.

Process and track all purchase requisitions for the construction team
Track project spending vs. budget and PO spend-to-date
Review Purchase Orders for completeness and accuracy
Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve speed and accuracy of PO completion
Maintain project files and reporting in SharePoint
Coordinate OFCI equipment suppliers and project management teams
Create closeout reports
Assist PMs with monthly accruals and AP with reconciliation
Manage inventory in Yardi from ordering to commissioning
Work with vendors regarding invoicing
Manage on-hand inventory while making sure CyrusOne honors MSAs
Validate proposals against the MSAs
Process MSA Project Amendments
Work closely with other team members (Operations, Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Legal)

Qualifications

Superior attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to identify potential problems before they become one
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Requirements

3+ years of project management experience (preferred)
Experience with Yardi accounting software is a plus
Knowledge of general accounting principles a plus
Background in projects involving the following:

Data center construction
Electrical systems installation
Mechanical systems installation
Overall critical facility knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
