Role Description
This role involves planning and executing Change Management activities throughout the lifecycle for assigned programs/projects/initiatives in alignment with the change management strategy and business objectives.
- Leads the change management workstream for programs/projects of significant scale/complexity.
- Accountable for own work and sometimes others; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource related to change methodology/tools.
- Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all change management deliverables for the program/project or multiple workstreams.
- Consults with senior stakeholders to ensure change management meets the needs of the business and project/program.
- Provides advice and guidance on components of TD's change methodology and framework to align with project/program goals.
- Integrates knowledge of change management methodology with overarching business strategy to recommend and implement effective interventions.
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve change management efficacy.
- Acts as a subject matter expert/lead, managing teams of related specialists.
- Solves complex problems and leads efforts to develop and implement new solutions.
- Communicates difficult concepts and influences alignment across senior stakeholders.
- Acts as the change management lead for Tier 2, high risk, strategic and regulatory projects or programs.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- Relevant Change Management Accreditations
- 7+ years related experience in a project environment
- Advanced knowledge of change management principles and industry best practices
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities
- Skill in mentoring and coaching
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams
Requirements
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Skill in using software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
