[Hiring] Business Solutions Manager @Waste Management, Inc. (WM)

Role Description

The Manager will be responsible for the development of programs that increase business optimization, reducing voluntary and involuntary turnover and increasing organizational capability across dispatch, logistics and collections departments.

• Oversee the development of programs that support strategic objectives.
• Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate and integrate multiple enterprise solutions projects with a large scope and complexity in an environment for business change.
• Develop an understanding of the day-to-day operations of logistics or collections department and provide daily support to managers in ensuring process, quality and budget performance.
• Work with senior management, various board and steering committees, functional leaders and individual team leaders by contributing strategic vision and integrating a broad range of ideas regarding logistics and business solutions development.
• Responsible for deliverables, cost, schedule and quality of one or more enterprise solutions projects.
• Plan projects, allocate and direct staff and other resources to accomplish project tasks and maintain control over the project(s).
• Work with internal and external customers, suppliers and other partners to resolve problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine and institutionalize solutions.
• Drive the project(s) and the organization toward achieving business results.
• Identify and ensure continuous development, improvement and implementation of WM key business processes within the enterprise and within Centers of Excellence.
• Focus on consistency and quality in the implementation of process improvements and be involved in the post-implementation verification.
• Participate in the development of training/coaching programs and the implementation of coaching processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree.
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• Four years of relevant work experience.
• Five years relevant experience in dispatch, logistics or collections (in addition to education requirement).

• Project management and organizational skills for documentation and milestone management.
• WM Field Centric.
• Equipment performance team fit.
• Process management, PM program, specifications, planning and scheduling and standard repair times.
• Technical refuse truck expertise, chassis, and body experience.
• Experience with today's technology, technician tablets, power BI, telematics diagnostics.

• The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S is $119,460 - $182,033.
