Role Description

The Associate Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects. Responsibilities include:

• Lead, coordinate, and complete revenue cycle projects on time and within budget and scope.
• Establish project plans with deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize progress of projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to implement long and short projects that align technology solutions and improve operational workflow.
• Ensure deliverables are on-time and fall within the applicable scope and budget.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish projects.
• Lead and direct the work of others, accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Project Management experience.
• 1-2 years of Revenue Cycle or healthcare experience, strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and management of teams using AI for process and technological improvements.
• Willingness to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Assist in clearly defining the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Determine available resources and delegate project tasks based on individual strengths and capabilities.
• Set realistic time estimates, sequence activities, and estimate the duration of activities to develop and maintain schedules.
• Determine cost estimate and develop the project budget; ensure adherence to approved budget throughout the project.
• Monitor and manage project performance, including cost and team performance.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks, including the development of contingency plans.
• Ensure customer satisfaction that the work scope is completed in a quality manner, within budget and on time.
• Keep the business owner/stakeholder updated to minimize uncertainty.
• Meet with business owners to review current project status reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, such as developing spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
