Role Description

You will play an integral role in building our business strategy on our Logistics Operations team under the Dasher & Logistics pillar. Your primary goal will focus on opportunities to improve dasher pay and efficiency by:

• Getting into the weeds and really understanding what’s happening on the ground.
• Developing and testing hypotheses.
• Scaling that impact through working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Analytics.

You will report directly into a Manager on the Dasher & Logistics team.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

• Build analysis to create data-driven decisions to improve the experience for our Users.
• Operate at the lowest level of detail to become an expert of this problem space.
• Learn how to develop strategies and act on them.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive impact for DoorDash.

Qualifications

• You have 4-6 years of experience in consulting, strategy, financial services, operations, technology, startups or related experience.
• You are able to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset.
• You can crunch data in SQL/Excel independently.
• You love thinking about problems from a first principles approach, and you aren’t afraid to take action and try new things in order to create the future.
• You are able to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and thorough way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• You focus on getting stuff done and aren’t afraid to get into the details.
• No job is beneath you and you lead from the front and with optimism.
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and the dynamic nature of operations which may require working weekends and holidays.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
