Role Description

Tenna is searching for a Vice President of Product to partner with our Executive Team to define and execute the product strategy for our B2B SaaS, mobile, and hardware-enabled platform. This leader will translate Tenna’s product vision into practical, actionable plans and ensure our product teams deliver solutions that create measurable value for customers.

The VP of Product will lead multiple teams, establish clear priorities, and bring structure and accountability to product execution. This is not a strategy-only position. We are looking for a hands-on, outcomes-oriented leader who stays close to the work, regularly checks progress, removes obstacles, and ensures our commitments are met.

The right candidate is an analytical, low-ego leader who listens well, communicates clearly, and is equally comfortable with engaging executives, product and engineering teams, and prospective and existing customers. They will bring experience developing complex, high-value B2B products within industrial markets and supporting solutions deployed across thousands of users.

Your Responsibilities

• Partner with the Executive Team to define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with Tenna’s business goals, market opportunities, and customer needs.
• Translate long-term product strategy into clear roadmaps, priorities, timelines, and executable plans for product, design, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead and develop multiple and distributed product teams.
• Maintain close visibility into product development, regularly reviewing progress, identifying risks, removing blockers, and ensuring teams deliver against commitments.
• Oversee the development and evolution of Tenna’s web, native mobile, SaaS, and hardware-enabled product offerings.
• Ensure products are designed to support large-scale deployment across thousands of users and complex customer environments.
• Establish and monitor meaningful product metrics, using data to evaluate performance, prioritize investments, and communicate progress.
• Present product plans, performance data, tradeoffs, risks, and timelines clearly to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Promote disciplined product development best practices while adapting processes to meet the needs of the business.
• Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
• Develop and improve the tools, systems, and operating rhythms used to manage product work and communicate progress.
• Cultivate a practical, customer-focused product culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and execution.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of success in launching and scaling B2B technology products in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of experience in senior leadership roles.
• Significant product management and product leadership experience within a B2B SaaS organization.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple product teams, including teams or stakeholders operating across different regions or countries.
• Experience developing and delivering complex B2B products within industrial verticals.
• Strong record of moving beyond strategy to drive execution, monitor progress, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience with web applications and native mobile application development, including products deployed at scale to thousands of users.
• Experience working with hardware-enabled products and connected software ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud-based platforms, multi-tenant systems, and product development.
• Sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand how technologies and programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, Swift, and Kotlin support product development.
• Experience reporting to and communicating directly with senior executives, including C-suite leaders.
• Ability to synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information into clear recommendations, priorities, and decisions.
• Experience using sophisticated product and project management tools to manage work, analyze data, and communicate plans and timelines.
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Figma, Zeplin, or comparable platforms.
• Experience directly engaging prospective and existing customers about current products, future offerings, and unmet needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively.
• Strong people-management skills and a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and align high-performing teams.
• Analytical, practical, and execution-oriented approach to leadership.
