[Hiring] Vice President of Operations @Career Team

Role Description

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing all Direct Services projects ensuring all projects are trained effectively, performing accordingly, and thriving within their communities. The primary responsibilities for this role will focus on:

• Overseeing operations for the Direct Services division
• Leading and inspiring the work of multi-unit teams and other executive leaders to successful outcomes
• Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction
• Meeting with Senior Leadership on a regular basis to monitor KPIs and operational items to ensure the success of projects/programs
• Developing and implementing strategic plans that guide the direction of the business
• Conducting onsite reviews at all Career Team locations
• Hosting weekly check-ins with the Executive Director team & Regional Director Team
• Maintaining and monitoring awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments, and standards
• Approaching each day and task with a “Zag” mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6+ years of experience in Business Leadership, Public Relations, Education, and Human Services with leadership and management experience
• 5+ years of experience with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
• 5+ years of demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment with an aptitude for communication, interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with others, show courteousness, and having a high level of professionalism
• A demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, handle personnel matters effectively, and handle employee and personnel inquiries with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy
• Ability to work across all levels of management and staff
• Sharp attention to detail with exceptional organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to perform and complete a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy
• Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to meet accounting month-end deadlines
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks and in a virtual team environment
• A valid driver’s license

Requirements

• Knowledge of WIOA/TANF workforce development contracts/programs
• Astounding ability to multitask and be proactive
• Position may require travel up to 25% of the time

Benefits

• Salary: $140K-160K plus an annual bonus; commensurate with education and experience
