[Hiring] Technical Product Owner @Swapcard

Role Description

As a Technical Product Owner, you will lead a squad of engineers, owning your product area end to end, from roadmap strategy to shipped features. Your responsibilities include:

• Talking to clients and end-users, as well as internal sales and success teams.
• Diving into usage data and translating findings into a clear, prioritized backlog.
• Writing user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from.
• Making decisions on what to build next, balancing new capabilities, technical debt, and bug fixes based on real customer impact.
• Understanding system constraints and discussing architecture trade-offs with developers.
• Working with designers to ensure feasibility aligns with user needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product ownership (or a similar product role) in a software development environment.
• A technical foundation through a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent prioritization instincts for maximizing customer value.
