[Hiring] Strategic Solutions Leader - Environmental Sustainability @Benchmark Gensuite

Role Description

Drive growth and adoption of Benchmark Gensuite’s Environmental Sustainability solutions, including sustainability, air/water/waste compliance management, and associated ESG reporting. Partner with Product and Growth cross-functional teams to accelerate pipeline development and bookings of target environmental offerings. Act as a subject matter expert to shape product direction and roadmap, align solutions with evolving regulatory and market needs, and represent our environmental portfolio to customers and the broader EHS & Sustainability community through virtual and in-person engagements. Lead the development of differentiated growth enablement assets (digital and collateral) for target solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in environmental management and sustainability, maintaining deep knowledge of regulations, industry trends, and emerging ESG priorities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention for environmental solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations for prospective and existing subscribers, showcasing environmental and sustainability capabilities.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives aligned with environmental and ESG market demands.
• Define product requirements and priorities in collaboration with Product Management and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and refine growth enablement assets to support GTM campaigns and subscriber/prospect engagements.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing success of subscribers using environmental solutions.
• Represent Benchmark Gensuite at industry events, webinars, and customer engagements as a thought leader in environmental management and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in environmental management, sustainability, ESG, EHS, consulting, or software.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., air, water, waste), sustainability frameworks, and ESG reporting standards.
• Experience translating customer needs into product requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to influence and build relationships.
• Preferred: Experience in environmental consulting, sustainability programs, or EHS software solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CHMM, ISO 14001, ISSP Sustainability Associate/Professional).
• Experience with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
• Experience with agile product development and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong understanding of software development processes.
