[Hiring] Staff Product Manager, Paid User Acquisition @Reddit

Role Description

Reddit is continuing to grow our teams with the best talent. This role is completely remote-friendly within North America. If you happen to live close to one of our physical office locations (San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City & Chicago) our doors are open for you to come into the office as often as you'd like.

While Reddit has historically seen immense organic growth, performance marketing is a critical lever as we expand into new global markets. In this role, you will partner with the Consumer Marketing team to architect a global performance marketing strategy and build solutions that make our efforts more effective, efficient, and incremental.

You will be responsible for developing a holistic user acquisition strategy, collaborating with Marketing and Data Science teams to measure the impact of paid initiatives. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing our growth strategy across all digital advertising channels.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, hands-on experience with user acquisition (UA) campaigns, and a proven track record of driving mobile user growth.

What You'll Do:

• Product Ownership: Lead product development initiatives that support and optimize Reddit’s paid user acquisition efforts.
• Roadmap Strategy: Define the UA roadmap, balancing long-term strategic investments with continuous optimization.
• Tech Stack Development: Architect robust tools and systems to build a state-of-the-art acquisition technology stack, providing visibility into performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• User Experience: Design seamless user flows to retain acquired users and clearly communicate Reddit’s unique value proposition.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Data Science, and Engineering to build automated solutions that scale the marketing team’s ability to attract high-quality users.
• Data Integrity: Ensure attribution models, paid user funnels, and incrementality metrics are fully understood, monitored, and integrated into the decision-making process.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of the performance marketing and user acquisition ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager for a machine learning product OR 5+ years as a Data Scientist working directly with product teams.
• 1+ years of experience specifically in performance marketing or user acquisition.
• Proven ability to deliver complex, scaled projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in applied statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience driving execution across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally without direct authority.

Requirements

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and exploring data independently.
• Master’s or PhD in Probability, Statistics, or Behavioral Economics.
