[Hiring] Staff Product Manager @SimpleStudy

Role Description

SimpleStudy is a consumer AI platform for students. We help them stay motivated to study their subjects - everything from Biology and Mathematics to Literature and Art. Our small team has already helped +1.5 M students worldwide (UK, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia) study better, and ~40–50k new students join us every week. We are a remote team with a Lisbon office, having recently raised ~$4M seed round with incredible investors from Strava, OpenAI, and Meta.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including senior/staff-level scope, ideally in a consumer app with meaningful scale (millions of users)
• Track record of owning product strategy across multiple lines/surfaces simultaneously — comfortable working cross-functionally across both consumer and B2B contexts
• Strong quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills; comfortable defining and owning core metrics (engagement, retention, conversion)
• Experience working closely with engineering and design to scope, prioritize, and ship — able to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a small team
• Strong product sense balanced with business/commercial judgment — able to make trade-offs between consumer growth priorities and B2B/schools priorities
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping define process/roadmap structure in a fast-moving startup, not just executing an existing one
• Experience with tools like Linear, Figma, PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar product/analytics stacks
• Excellent written and verbal communication — able to represent product thinking clearly to founders, engineers, and stakeholders across both business lines

Conditions

• Remote in Europe (preference: Western/continental Europe)
• Salary: no fixed budget. Flexible.
• Stock options: yes
• Contract type: full-time employment, independent contractor
