About the Role
Validity is the most trusted name in customer data quality. We're searching for a Senior Product Manager with a proven track record of managing technical SaaS data management capabilities, CRM solutions, and data product integrations.

As a Senior Product Manager, you are one of our core creative talents. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management and working closely with the engineering team, you will convert customer requirements and market trend analysis into product features. Your goal will be to increase the adoption and fit of the Validity data management platform to the market.

Team Dynamic

The Product Management team is the linchpin of our company, working across teams to ensure our products meet the needs of the customer and the business. They are responsible for the complete product offering, from early-stage research and ideation to implementation and iteration, based on key success metrics. As a key contributor to this team, you are responsible for the product lifecycle of Validity’s data management platform.


Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acquire a solid understanding of the market and gather requirements from a variety of sources.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer through regular interactions with customers, partners, and industry analysts, thus developing deep customer and competitive insight.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Validity’s data management products, features, positioning, and vision.
  • Contribute to innovation by proposing new products, services, market opportunities, or directions. Help define the product roadmap and achieve the goals defined in the roadmap.
  • Produce specifications, collaborate with design teams for user experience requirements, and refine/organize the product backlog.
  • Work closely with various technical teams to deliver high-value features and product iterations.
  • Iteratively define and implement KPIs to track and measure financial success and adoption of products in the market. Leverage the insight to adjust product direction.
  • Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and inform product decisions.
  • Conceptualize and write captivating documentation to support features in their development and go-to-market phases.
  • Be relentlessly customer-centric.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in the B2B, SaaS, or technology space with a track record of successful product growth.
  • 5+ years of experience with a demonstrated understanding of processes for strategy development and market evaluation with a strong emphasis on customer centricity.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management practice, including roadmap development, backlog management, requirements gathering, and specifications production.
  • 5+ years of previous experience with data management platform capabilities (MDM, DQ, CDP) and revenue orchestration/intelligence solutions (Lead routing).
  • 3+ years of experience or knowledge of data and analytics technologies, and sales and marketing applications (CRM, MAP).
  • 2+ years of experience with API based integrated enterprise data and products.
  • Exceptional analytical skills: excel at understanding sophisticated problems quantitatively and qualitatively, as well as the ability to gather, prioritize, and translate customer and business requirements into successful product strategies.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills: be able to communicate compelling headlines to technical and executive-level audiences, and support those headlines with deep command of the details.
  • You must be a resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized problem solver.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives under ambiguity in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other STEM discipline
  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Familiarity with or experience implementing AI/ML within SaaS data management, data quality, and analytics products
  • Prior consulting experience specifically in data quality, data management, sales orchestration, and sales intelligence
  • Familiarity with a “Working Backwards” product management process
