[Hiring] Senior Product Manager - Special Projects @Tremendous

Role Description

Tremendous is looking for a Product Manager who will own problems rather than run a squad. This role involves:

• Researching new product areas and developing roadmaps.
• Creating shovel-ready specs before staffing new projects.
• Managing one or two high-priority projects at a time.
• Influencing new project areas and team structures.

You will:

• Report to our Co-founder / Head of Product, Kapil Kale.
• Own new product areas before they have a team.
• Turn research into shovel-ready work including briefs, prototypes, and specs.
• Utilize AI to analyze customer tickets, sales calls, and competitor research.
• Run smaller projects that don’t require a full squad.
• Cover a squad when needed, stepping in temporarily if a team is without a PM.
• Work asynchronously, focusing on written communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping web applications as a designer, engineer, or product manager.
• At least 2 years of experience taking new products from zero to one.
• Comfortable being the only accountable person for initiatives without a team.
• Able to manage a portfolio of projects instead of a single product.
• Track record of turning ambiguous opportunities into prioritized roadmaps.
• Strong product intuition, design judgment, and technical fluency.
• Outstanding written communication skills.
• Experience as a founder, founding PM, or first-product-hire is a strong plus.

• Ability to persuade senior stakeholders through written communication.
