[Hiring] Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Analytics @RocketRez

Role Description

Operators ask us questions every day. How did yesterday go? Which channel actually converts? Did the new pricing pay off, or did it just move demand around? Your job is to turn those questions into data, reports, and visuals that answer them clearly and lead to a revenue maximizing decision.

• Own Reporting & Analytics end to end: the reports, dashboards, and insights operators use to run their business.
• Prove that reporting can be the front door to RocketRez: where operators start their day, and what moves them to act.
• Measured on usage and on the revenue operators earn from the decisions reporting drives.

• Next, a revenue engine: Operators set revenue targets and campaigns, track their pace against them and against past seasons.
• Automated revenue management: Automation keeps tracking and planning running without the operator asking.

What you'll do

• Understand the question: Spend real time with operators across roles to learn the decisions they make.
• Design reporting that leads to a decision: Every report should make clear what it means and what to do next.
• Data fluency: Prototype with real data and write your own SQL to mock up a report.
• Own the metric definitions the platform runs on: Ensure consistency in revenue, attendance, capacity utilization, and conversion.
• Apply statistical judgment: Consider seasonality, small samples, cohorts, fair comparisons, and forecasting.
• Choose the right visual for the question, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and honest scales.
• Treat data quality as product quality.
• Work with other domains to ensure new products capture the data reporting needs before they ship.
• Own the roadmap: sizing, sequencing, and what gets cut.
• Shape how automation and AI turn insights into recommended actions.
• Define how cross-operator benchmarks work: peer sets, minimum sample sizes, and anonymization.
• Make build, buy, and partner calls on analytics tooling.

• Quick learning in ambiguity without needing a playbook.
• Customer obsession and sound commercial reasoning.
• Discipline about verifying what's true and honesty about outcomes.

Experience that tends to fit

• Repeated, individually owned wins on customer-facing analytics or reporting products in B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with modern BI and data tools.
• Experience in ticketing, attractions, hospitality, travel, payments, or retail is a plus.
