Role Description

As Senior Product Manager for Meridia’s Engine, you will own the product roadmap and delivery of the Engine, a critical component of Meridia’s Verify platform.

• Own the product roadmap and delivery of the Engine.
• Implement proprietary methodology for regulatory and voluntary sustainability standards.
• Work closely with the Methodology team to ensure a scalable, usable, and reliable product experience.
• Balance technical and data understanding with commercial and customer insight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Methodology, Engineering, Data, Customer Success, and Sales.
• Remote role based in Brasília, with a distributed team across Indonesia and Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Product discovery: Investigate roadmap candidates to determine customer value and revenue impact.
• User experience: Collaborate with teams to ensure strong user experience and accurate representation of methodology.
• Product requirements: Deliver requirements for engineers to decompose into stories and tasks.
• Communication: Proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress.
• Execution: Support development by troubleshooting obstacles and collaborating closely with engineers.
• Roadmap planning: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritize roadmap candidates.
• Backlog planning: Own prioritization of the backlog and bugs for the Engine squad.
• Success metrics: Conceive how to measure success for each initiative on the roadmap.
• Domain knowledge: Develop expertise on impacts associated with agricultural supply chains.
• Market & competitor analysis: Regularly analyze the marketplace and competitors to inform product strategy.
• Documentation: Document key decisions and rationale throughout the product lifecycle.
• Enablement: Train Sales, Marketing & Customer Success ahead of roadmap item releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a product manager of technically advanced and data-heavy products/platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enjoys working quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for owning details in requirements and execution.
• Highly collaborative and receptive to feedback.
• Commercially astute with strong influencing skills.
• Experience in a startup or early-stage scaleup environment, preferably in a regulated space.
• Demonstrable experience in user research and leveraging customer data for decision making.
• Excellent English for collaboration with teams and customers.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong appreciation of cloud technologies.
• Background in software engineering, system analysis, or technical business analysis is highly desired.
• 2+ years of B2B SaaS experience (desirable but not essential).
• Experience with a Geospatial or map-related product (desirable but not essential).
