[Hiring] Senior Product Manager- AI @‎ConnectWise

Role Description

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of ConnectWise platforms, including:

• Gathering requirements
• Designing technical and functional specifications
• Managing the product backlog
• Coordinating development efforts through to implementation and subsequent support

This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to:

• Coordinate and enhance development efforts
• Aid partners in product navigation
• Find effective solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Establishing operational plans for the Product Management team
• Developing and implementing new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans that impact functional results
• Providing support to the Product Management team with high attention to detail
• Communicating with ConnectWise leadership as needed
• Coaching, reviewing, and/or delegating work to other team members
• Defining and driving the business plan, strategy, and positioning of products to align with corporate growth strategy
• Collaborating to discover solutions to identified problems
• Proactively identifying market opportunities and performing analysis of the competitive landscape
• Interacting with customers and prospects to define market requirements
• Monitoring product performance to evaluate adoption rates, user experience, and production issues
• Prioritizing the product backlog in conjunction with overall business and partner needs
• Representing ConnectWise in all partner engagements, events, conferences, and other venues

Qualifications

• Ability to manage large, complex projects and processes independently with limited supervision
• Recognized expert in applicable work area
• Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business and partner requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment while maintaining high quality work
• Demonstrated commitment to partner and team-oriented management
• Strong knowledge of software development, database, server/client, and similar technical concepts
• Strong understanding of modern product management techniques and methods
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Knowledge of MSP industry
• Preferred: Knowledge of Agile Methodology, software development life cycle, and Atlassian Product Suite

• US-Remote (EST working hours)
