Role Description
As a Product Manager at Friends, you will help lead the work of improving public services through civic technology projects. Your role is to ensure we are solving the right problems, delivering usable solutions, and creating lasting impact through thoughtful strategy.
What you'll achieve:

Shape the product vision and roadmap for a federal agency's most critical agricultural modernization programs.

Serve as the senior product voice connecting agency IT leadership, business program units, and the Palantir platform team.

Build and own the platform branding, communications, and value proposition.

Drive feature prioritization and use case validation across a portfolio of Palantir Foundry-based applications.

Extend your impact beyond the initial program scope, informing how the Palantir platform gets adopted across additional mission areas.

Operate at the intersection of high-priority national initiatives visible to agency executive leadership.
Qualifications

Palantir Foundry experience: familiarity with ontology-driven workflows and ability to communicate with platform teams.

Executive communication skills: comfortable running structured briefings with senior leadership.

Stakeholder alignment across complex organizations: experience working across cross-functional teams.

Agile delivery fluency: ability to manage backlogs and validate use cases within a sprint-based framework.

Platform branding and communications: articulate a product's value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Risk management and problem solving: anticipate delivery risks early and provide solutions.
Requirements

Federal product management at the senior level (preferred).

Familiarity with procurement, compliance, or federal IT delivery frameworks (preferred).

Experience leading discovery work, service design sprints, or participatory workshops (preferred).

Knowledge of performance measurement or analytics tools (preferred).

Comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting requirements, or multidisciplinary teams (preferred).

Bachelorβs degree in any discipline or equivalent experience.

5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
