Role Description
This Senior Product Manager role requires a technically strong platform leader who can independently drive Kubernetes-based, hybrid, and on-prem architecture initiatives. The role combines deep infrastructure expertise with ownership of OEM partnerships, on-prem storage integrations, observability, usage tracking, and billing systems. The ideal candidate bridges distributed systems architecture with commercial and partner strategy, ensuring the platform scales securely, operates reliably, and supports modern consumption and embedded deployment models across enterprise environments.

Define and execute the platform strategy across Kubernetes-based, hybrid, and on-prem environments (Kubernetes distributions and multi-cluster deployments, including OpenShift).

Collaborate on architecture and roadmap initiatives spanning control plane design, cluster lifecycle management, networking, security, and enterprise deployment patterns.

Drive OEM partnership strategy, including integrations with on-prem storage and embedded deployment models.

Own product capabilities related to observability, telemetry, usage tracking, and consumption-based billing on-prem environments.

Design and deliver usage reporting, cost management, and billing system integrations to support enterprise and OEM customers.

Independently lead deep technical discussions with engineering, partners, and enterprise platform teams.

Translate complex infrastructure, storage, and networking constraints into scalable, supportable product capabilities.

Own the documentation of all product requirements, deliverables and user enablement content.

Drive clear communication across engineering and support teams to ensure product-related issues transition smoothly through defined channels.
Qualifications

7+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems products.

Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture, including control plane, networking, storage, RBAC, and multi-cluster deployments.

Experience with OpenShift, or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions in hybrid or on-prem environments.

Demonstrated experience working with OEM partnerships, on-premises storage integrations, or embedded software environments.

Deep understanding of observability systems, telemetry pipelines, usage tracking, and billing architectures (including consumption-based models).

Experience defining non-functional requirements such as scalability, high availability, resilience, and performance.

Ability to independently drive architectural discussions and make informed trade-offs across platform, billing, and partner ecosystems.
