The Senior IT Manager will lead a cross-functional product team responsible for building, operating, and evolving data-driven solutions running on AWS and Databricks. This role bridges product strategy, platform execution, and operational excellence ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Own end-to-end delivery of data platform products built on Databricks and AWS, balancing KTLO and new feature(s) development.

Lead and manage a cross-functional team of data engineers and product partners, while remaining technically hands-on when needed.

Actively contribute to data engineering design and implementation, including pipelines, data models, transformations, and performance tuning.

Translate business requirements into scalable data products and well-prioritized execution plans.

Drive platform reliability, performance, scalability, and cost optimization across AWS and Databricks.

Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, Spark development, CI/CD, monitoring, and data quality.

Oversee production operations, incident management, and continuous improvement for data pipelines and analytics workloads.

Partner with architecture, security, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise and regulatory standards.

Communicate clearly with stakeholders on progress, risks, delivery metrics, and business impact.

Mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering strong technical ownership and a product-centric mindset.
Qualifications

Proven experience leading product or platform teams supporting cloud-based data solutions on Databricks and AWS.

Strong understanding of data engineering, distributed processing, and cloud-native architectures.

Demonstrated ability to manage both KTLO operations and new product development simultaneously.

Experience translating business needs into prioritized roadmaps and measurable delivery outcomes.
Requirements

This is a full-time regular salaried position (w-2). Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).

The pay range for this position is $119,400.00 - $170,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
