[Hiring] (S)VP of Product @Buildout

Role Description

Buildout is seeking an experienced and dynamic (Senior) Vice President of Product to join our executive team. You’ll be responsible for driving innovation in our established products and clear development prioritization to continue delivering on the value we bring to our customer - automation of the busywork of brokerage, without a sacrifice in quality.

• Execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and market opportunities, specifically focused on accelerating the ROI and value in our strong product suite via next generation capabilities (like AI) and exceptional user experience.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product roadmap and innovation.
• Assess the current product portfolio and identify opportunities for better integration and innovation, aimed at workflow optimization.
• Develop strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base by delivering exceptional product experiences and addressing customer pain points.
• Implement processes and practices that improve product development efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and enhance product quality.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product management and design team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.
• Be an active, engaged member of Buildout’s Senior Leadership team, leading the direction of the company and culture at large.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully innovating in established products (especially with the latest in AI technology), optimizing workflows and driving growth in a software or technology company.
• Strong understanding of the commercial real estate industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.

• Data-driven, with the ability to seek, shape, and ingest data in large quantities and varieties.
• Ability to think big picture while also knowing the specifics on any feature in the roadmap.
