Role Description
As the Product Manager, you play a pivotal role in driving the success of an assigned product portfolio. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various solution owners who integrate our products into our solutions. The Product Manager defines and delivers innovative solutions that cater to customer needs while aligning with our business objectives. This includes:

Cross-functional leadership of the product vision for developing, managing, supporting, and marketing the product.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Complete proactive analysis of assigned states/responsibilities to ensure integrity of existing products by serving as team member on channel-driven product enhancement projects.

Research business ideas and market opportunities or trends that lead to new product ideas.

Develop comprehensive analysis of financial potential of new product ideas.

Utilize knowledge of rate making and product costs (direct and indirect) in determining future actions at a state level and rate making exercises.

Research, select, define, and develop new product features, and market positioning based upon customer need and competitive environment.

Develop quality standards, administration, policy language, and pricing for new products.

Develop and present business plans and justification for new business opportunities/new products with potential financial impacts.

Manage and direct internal resources and external vendors for effective implementation of new products.

Analyze testing of new products and existing products enhancements to ensure product maintains positioning and profitability.

Develop relationships with outside companies for potential strategic alliances and/or vendor administrators.

Keep up on latest industry and consumer trends by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, Internet research, establishing personal networks, and/or participating in professional societies.

Help ensure implementation/testing of new and existing products through internal training and selling of new product ideas to sales force and client contact teams.

Assist the client teams by attending client presentations as new product expert when necessary.

Provide new thought direction and expertise to channels and client teams by attending brainstorming sessions for marketing, product enhancements, or new product ideas.

Support geographic-level reporting and analysis, preparing maps, visual summaries, heat-charts, exposure analysis, and other similar reports and analysis to understand product exposures and risk management at a granular geographic level.
Qualifications

A minimum of 5 yearsโ experience in product analysis or product management within Property & Casualty insurance, preferably HO3 (Homeowners) and HO6 (Condominium).

Must have experience with regulatory language and interpretation of Forms.

Proven analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a high attention to detail.

Experienced performing effectively when changes in priorities, direction, and resources occur.

Advanced Excel skills required; general proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Requirements

Bachelorโs degree preferred in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Strong relationship building skills, including an ability to influence internal & external stakeholders.

Ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines with high sense of urgency.

Inquisitive nature and ability to seek out information.

Strong organizational skills.
Benefits

Up to 5% annual travel.

Pay Range: $88,000.00 - $147,000.00.

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
