[Hiring] Production & Sourcing Manager @Activate Talent

Role Description

Our client, a globally recognized lifestyle and design brand, is looking for a Production & Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing and supplier operations. In this role, you will manage the full production lifecycle—from product concept to final delivery—while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on-time execution across multiple product lines.

You will work cross-functionally with design, product development, marketing, and logistics teams to bring creative products to life at scale, while maintaining strong relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full production lifecycle across multiple product lines and SKUs, from development through delivery.
• Create tech packs, costing sheets, and production briefs to translate concepts into production-ready specifications.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard global manufacturers while negotiating pricing, MOQs, and timelines.
• Build and manage production timelines to ensure launches stay on track.
• Coordinate with design, marketing, sales, and logistics teams to align on product execution and delivery.
• Oversee sampling processes, including reviewing and approving samples with clear feedback.
• Track production progress, identify delays, and resolve issues with suppliers proactively.
• Ensure consistent product quality across all production runs, including materials, construction, and packaging.
• Manage costing to meet margin targets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support inventory planning and production quantities based on demand forecasts.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, purchase orders, and supplier records.
• Support retail partnerships with product timelines, requirements, and exclusive launches.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end production and sourcing for consumer products such as apparel, accessories, stationery, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of global manufacturing and experience working with overseas suppliers.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing, MOQs, and production timelines.
• Experience creating tech packs, costing sheets, and production documentation.
• Hands-on experience with product development cycles, including sampling and quality control.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule.
• Strong communication and supplier management skills.
