[Hiring] Product Owner @EPAM

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and detail-oriented Product Owner eager to shape the future of healthcare, who thrives on solving challenges, bringing order to complexity, and turning needs into working solutions. The candidate has analytical skills with the ability to interpret and optimize data quality and governance and is experienced in stakeholder management, skilled at balancing priorities and managing expectations.

• Collaborate with the Engineering Lead and Product Manager to define feature requirements, including integrations with third-party services.
• Partner with the Engineering Lead to confirm that all feature requirements can be effectively addressed by the proposed solution.
• Maintain consistent, timely communication with the Product Manager, stakeholders, and development teams.
• Work alongside engineers and product managers to produce high-quality technical project and product documentation.
• Write clear descriptions and acceptance criteria for user stories, securing approval from the technical product owner.
• Define and manage both functional and non-functional requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Own the responsibility for maintaining a healthy, well-groomed product backlog.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level roles.
• Proven track record managing engagements for teams of 5 or more full-time employees.
• Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into clear business and technical requirements.
• Strong sense of proactiveness, partnership, and ownership in driving product outcomes.
• Experience organizing, planning, and controlling Product Design and Business Analysis processes.
• Healthcare background, with an understanding of healthcare systems and the challenges specific to the domain.
• Awareness of HIPAA, GDPR, or other healthcare compliance standards relevant to product development.
• Experience handling PHI and PII in compliance with privacy regulations and security standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with English proficiency at a C1 level.
• Experience managing customer relationships and working with data integration across systems.

Requirements

• Experience working with API-enabled products and integrating them with other applications or solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including experience working within Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• Background in Med Devices, MedTech, or Medical Devices industries.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse interests and expectations.
• Familiarity with user-centric design principles, including UX/UI concepts for building intuitive products.
• Good understanding of data quality and data governance practices.
• Experience with cloud and cloud data services, preferably AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, or DynamoDB.
• Relevant certification, which would be considered a valuable addition to your qualifications.
