[Hiring] Product Owner @Electric Power Engineers

Role Description

Define product strategy, roadmap, and feature requirements for the Insights grid analytics platform supporting transmission planning and renewable energy project development workflows.

• Define and implement AI strategy initiatives for the Insights product team, including evaluation and adoption of AI-driven product capabilities, automation workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Lead development and enhancement of GIS-based transmission planning, hosting capacity, curtailment, and energy market analysis tools used by enterprise customers.
• Work with power system engineers, software development engineers, and data engineers to develop product features, improve internal data pipelines, and enhance platform scalability, performance, and data quality.
• Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and business requirements to improve platform usability, reporting capabilities, operational workflows, and overall customer experience.
• Track and analyze product, operational, and customer usage metrics and prepare reports and insights for leadership and management decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional product release management activities, including testing, validation, stakeholder communication, go-to-market alignment, and production rollout planning in collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.
