Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, OR
• 2-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field AND 2 years relevant work experience, OR
• A combination of equivalent work experience and education.
• 2+ years of oil & gas accounting experience required; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives in cooperation with the VP of product/Product Manager.
• Conduct research and develop a good understanding of the customer’s needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.
• Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the needs of the stakeholders and is effectively communicated to the development team.
• Develop requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts, in cooperation with Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering Leads.
• Determine the priority of items in the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and other relevant factors, and communicate these priorities to the development team.
• Collaborate closely with the development and product teams throughout the sprint to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the product developed meets the acceptance criteria.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with their needs and expectations.
• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products, and introducing products to the market.
• Work with the development and quality assurance team to ensure that the delivered product meets quality standards and fulfills the defined requirements.
• Actively seek feedback from stakeholders and team members to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
