Your role:

  • Define and evolve product strategy and roadmap for complex, distributed healthcare software platforms, ensuring alignment with customer needs, clinical workflows, interoperability requirements, and long‑term business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Architecture, QA, Clinical, and Customer‑facing teams to translate user needs and regulatory constraints into clear product requirements, epics, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Drive requirements clarity and system definition, partnering with architects to shape interfaces, data flows, and integration strategies—especially across oncology, imaging, and hospital information systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory expectations, embedding safety‑critical considerations, quality processes, and interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and DICOM into product decisions.
  • Own cross‑functional communication and alignment, coordinate with other product owners to align roadmaps providing clear articulation of product goals, tradeoffs, and outcomes to diverse stakeholders including executives, engineering teams, clinical partners, and customers.
  • Champion user value and outcome‑driven development, using data, insights, and clinical understanding to drive prioritization and ensure product capabilities deliver measurable impact.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship, guiding teams on product thinking, customer empathy, prioritization methods, and best‑practice product development processes.
  • Engage in the complete software product lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance. Quality and delivery are a team effort.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Informatics, or related field—or equivalent experience with advanced applied work.
  • Demonstratable experience in product management or related roles defining and delivering distributed software systems at scale, ideally within healthcare or other regulated domains.
  • Strong understanding of modern software technologies, including cloud‑native architectures, distributed systems, and integration frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft‑based solutions (e.g., .NET ecosystems, Azure), and familiarity with platform‑level capabilities that influence product strategy.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and DICOM, and comfort translating clinical or regulatory constraints into product decisions.
  • Experience with safety‑critical or regulated software environments, understanding how compliance, validation, and quality processes impact product lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and written skills; capable of simplifying complex concepts and facilitating alignment across technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and outcome‑driven, with a strategic mindset and strong end‑to‑end ownership of product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong experience shaping cloud‑native platform products and working closely with system architects on distributed system design.
  • Comfort working with technical concepts, including the ability to collaborate with engineers and translate architecture tradeoffs into product decisions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and safety‑critical frameworks, enabling more effective product shaping.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, bringing clarity and alignment to complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and leveraging AI‑driven capabilities to accelerate product discovery and delivery.
