[Hiring] Product Manager / Project Manager @Maarut

Role Description

Client is seeking an autonomous senior professional to oversee and coordinate digital accessibility projects with established vision and priorities. This is not a product ownership role: the individual will not define the vision or the backlog but rather advance a pre-defined plan with the business and IT teams. The core of the role is cross-functional coordination:

• Monitoring deadlines
• Managing risks
• Coordinating partners
• Reporting to management

The recurring terms (roadmap, action plans, stakeholders, influential leadership, indicators) confirm a priority given to delivery tracking and engagement without hierarchical authority. The title "Project Manager" is explicitly open depending on the candidate's profile, and expertise in accessibility remains an asset, not a requirement. The format is a short-term, part-time contract of 10 hours per week, fully remote, with a few scheduled meetings and the rest organized according to the consultant's availability. This should not be confused with a backlog-focused product owner, a designer, a developer, or a project manager confined to a single team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, senior level
• Monitoring and coordination of projects with established vision and priorities
• Coordination of cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder management
• Structuring, planning, and monitoring of multi-stakeholder action plans
• Mobilization and influence of partners without hierarchical authority
• Experience in a complex digital and organizational environment
• Autonomy and organization in a fully remote work context
• Oral and written communication, accountability at various levels
• French language proficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in e-commerce, administration, computer science, project management, or a related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of digital accessibility, standards, and associated regulatory requirements (WCAG and equivalents) (asset)

What We Don't Want

• Product owner focused on vision definition and backlog prioritization, with the mandate to execute a pre-established plan
• Resume without experience coordinating initiatives involving multiple teams or departments
• Experience limited to a technical implementation role (development, integration, design) without delivery tracking or accountability
• Less than 8 years of relevant experience
• Project management experience confined to a single team, without coordination of cross-functional stakeholders
• No evidence of mobilizing or influencing partners outside of a direct reporting line
