[Hiring] Product Manager @PeopleJoy

Role Description

As a Product Manager for our Advisory platform, you'll be critical in owning our product's journey. In this role, you'll be working closely with the senior leadership to:

• Understand the problem we are solving and why.
• Understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Ensure the team builds the right thing, in the right order, sprint by sprint.

This means long hours and occasionally unrecognized efforts to overcome challenging product hurdles and deliver results. Your work will be instrumental in building and scaling the product—and ultimately, the company's success.

• Experience working alongside a founder with a strong product mindset.

Requirements

• Maintain the advisory roadmap, aligned with company strategy set with the senior leadership team.
• Run discovery with borrowers, HR and benefits teams, and client stakeholders.
• Lead the product side of new client implementations, working with the Account Manager.
• Own the backlog, writing, refining, and prioritizing user stories.
• Work with engineering, design, sales, and client success to deliver and position the product.
• Plan launches, define success metrics, and track adoption and feedback after release.
• Monitor competitors and the PSLF policy landscape for changes that affect the product.
• Be engineering's day-to-day decision-maker on scope and edge cases.
