[Hiring] Product Manager @AlertMedia

Role Description

We’re hiring a Product Manager to turn real-world security expertise into Social Intelligence software that helps teams identify credible threats sooner and protect people when it matters most.

• Customer and Market Understanding
  • Develop deep expertise in the personas we serve — corporate security, intelligence analysts, executive protection, threat assessment, brand and communications teams.
  • Interview customers and prospects continuously.
  • Maintain a clear, current view of the problems we solve well today and where we can improve.
  • Track industry trends, threat landscape shifts, and translate them into implications for our roadmap.
• Prioritization and Roadmap Ownership
  • Own the Social Intelligence roadmap: decide what we build, what we defer, and what we decline.
  • Balance business objectives, customer needs, and industry trends when sequencing work.
  • Define the problem sets and jobs to be done that anchor each initiative.
• Working With Development and Design
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to translate customer problems into specifications.
  • Break large initiatives into releasable increments that produce customer value early.
  • Stay close through delivery — grooming, scope decisions, testing, and launch readiness.
• Prototyping With AI Tooling
  • Use AI development and design tools to build working prototypes.
  • Treat prototypes as a research method.
  • Bring that fluency to the wider product team.
• Measurement
  • Define what success looks like before launch.
  • Analyze product usage data and customer outcomes after release.
• Go-To-Market Enablement
  • Work with Product Marketing to position new capabilities.
  • Translate product functionality into narratives for customer-facing teams.
  • Lead internal training, demos, and Q&A sessions.

Qualifications

• Operational experience protecting people, businesses, or brands.
• Hands-on experience using social and open-source threat intelligence products.
• Working knowledge of manual open-source intelligence tradecraft.
• Product management experience or ownership of a product-adjacent function.
• Strong analytical judgment and comfort making decisions from incomplete information.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product analytics software.
• A collaborative, no-ego approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Resourcefulness and the ability to keep going when the path is not clear.
• Energetic, empathetic, and earnest, with a consistent record of delivering quality work.

Requirements

• Experience building or scaling an intelligence function.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, APIs, system integrations, or data pipelines.
• Exposure to threat assessment frameworks such as WAVR-21 or RAGE-V.
• Experience with product enablement or go-to-market support.
