Role Description

As a Product Manager at EMPLOYERS, you will have a crucial role in driving transformation and innovation through the development and improvement of digital solutions that will revolutionize customer experiences, streamline processes, and move our organization towards industry-leading transformation.

• Champion the voice of the customer and foster a user-centric development approach.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to oversee the product development process from concept to implementation.
• Ensure products exceed expectations and are intuitive and easy to manage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate the needs and preferences of target personas through customer feedback channels.
• Set OKRs for a product and validate business cases prior to significant investment.
• Develop a clear and compelling product vision and create a roadmap that supports this vision.
• Manage cross-functional team members to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Drive go-to-market strategy, successfully bringing products to launch, monitoring OKRs, and ongoing maintenance.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities and make recommendations based on data insights.
• Interpret data regularly to make informed decisions about the product.
• Stay current on customer trends and preferences to inform product strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and manage a cross-functional team throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs and refining priorities.
• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements.
• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products.
• Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in product management.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile and scrum processes and product development.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in documenting business processes and workflows.
• Experience developing product roadmaps, epics, stories, and UAT.
• Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups.
• Experience developing business requirements.
• Knowledge of design thinking and UX/UI visual design principles.
• Strong business/customer engagement skills.
• Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations.
• High level of competence with MS Office, Atlassian suite, JIRA, and Lucid charts.
• Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of digital products and business process optimization.
• Experience in insurtech and/or fintech preferred.

Requirements

• Certification as a scrum master and/or product owner preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in product management, business, design, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment

• Remote: This role is a remote (work from home) opportunity and only open to candidates currently located in the United States and able to work without sponsorship.
• Requires a suitable space that provides a private and quiet workplace.
• Expected Work Hours: Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization.
• Travel: May be required to travel to off-site location(s) to attend meetings, as necessary.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
