[Hiring] Product Manager @smartIBAN

Role Description

To achieve our purpose of creating magic for people by bringing the UX that exists today in cards to bank-to-bank payments, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager and a true partner for our CEO and CTO. Someone ready to take full ownership of product strategy and execution.

• Build and execute a product roadmap that shifts the mindset from “one bank account” to “one technical transaction identifier”
• Use design and user experience as strategic levers to build products that are functional and deeply user-centric
• Develop scalable API-driven infrastructure trusted by EU fintechs, PSPs, and potential banks
• Deliver Version 1 of the platform that integrates two vIBANs providers by the end of 2025
• Deliver Version 2 that integrates MiCA compliant wallets by the end of Q2/3 2026
• Build and lead the experts' team needed to execute the product strategy
• Utilize tools and instruments to build and execute the product strategy, including owning the product P&L with a strong grip on unit economics
• Integrate clear and actionable data capabilities in the product from day one

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building fintech products and making strategic leadership decisions for a payments product related to banking and card rails (mandatory)
• Understanding of blockchain rails (as a bonus)
• Deep understanding of the opportunities generated by the EU regulatory landscape (like MICAR, PSD3, digital EURO, request to pay)
• Understanding of the strategic differences between EU B2B financial flows and B2C/C2B financial flows
• Analytical mindset with a compulsion toward action
• Hands-on experience delivering scalable, API-first products
• A founder's mentality, driven by ownership, speed, and strategic clarity
