Role Description
Our team brings deep expertise across electric power markets, project development, and software development, positioning us as trusted experts in this rapidly evolving market. We are seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of our software products. You will play a key role in defining the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, and you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and iterations. The ideal candidate will have an energy background, a deep understanding of user needs, and the ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- End-to-End Product Development: Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of features that meet both quality standards and customer expectations.
- Performance Analysis and Improvement: Continuously monitor product performance using key metrics and user feedback to refine and iterate on the product.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Synthesize and communicate results, insights, and actionable recommendations to the leadership team and all relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager leading software teams that have shipped high-quality, high-value products on schedule.
- Proven record of launching products from 0 to 1 (from concept to launch).
- Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and familiarity with product management tools (Airtable, Linear).
- Proven ability to define product strategies, create product roadmaps, and execute against them.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong understanding of Energy Markets, including familiarity with how energy markets work, energy contracts, energy billing, tariffs, and demand-response systems.
- Understanding of Bitcoin basics, including what it is, how it works, its key components, and related applications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of payment processors and financial technologies.
- Engineering background.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and design thinking.
- Experience working at an early-stage startup or a new business unit within an established company.
