[Hiring] Product Line Management Analyst @Genus

Role Description

Are you someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, and enjoys turning data into actionable insights? As a Bovine Product Line Management Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the performance and growth of Genus’s bovine product portfolio.

Working closely with Product Line Managers, you will:

• Analyse sales data and product performance to support Dairy, Beef InFocus, Beef-on-Beef and GeneAdvance product lines.
• Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across product portfolios, providing clear, actionable insights.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards covering pricing, product categorisation, and contracted vs. non-contracted sales.
• Support the development and maintenance of global GeneAdvance account data, including product requirements and volume forecasting.
• Track product performance gaps, including volume leakage and genetic quality opportunities.
• Contribute to competitor analysis, ensuring commercial teams are well-equipped to differentiate Genus offerings.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reporting packs, and strategy materials for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with ad hoc product line management activities and cross-functional initiatives.
• Explore and apply AI and automation tools to enhance reporting efficiency and analytical capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management, business analysis, or market research.
• Background in agriculture, animal science, or a related sector is advantageous.
• Strong experience working with data analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modelling.

Requirements

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with confidence to inform and influence.
• Highly collaborative, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); exposure to AI or automation tools is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
