[Hiring] Product Engineer: Mobile Apps @Maxflow BV / CrazyGames

Role Description

We're looking for a product-minded engineer to help build our apps into the core of the CrazyGames experience. You'll work across the stack:

• Native iOS/Android
• React
• Custom Capacitor plugins
• Node backends
• Terraform infrastructure

You don't need to be an expert in all of them — but you should be eager to dive into any of them. This role lets you shape what we build, not just how.

Key outcomes for the role:

• Within 1 month: Familiar with the codebase, fix bugs, and contribute to larger changes for our 40M users.
• Within 3 months: Implement user-facing features end-to-end and conduct experiments to improve core metrics.
• Within 6 months: Take ownership of adding features to our app, such as implementing the possibility to play games while offline while ensuring that progress within games is transferred between devices when the device gets internet access.
• Within 12 months: Fully understand the high-level architecture of the codebase to work together with your Team Lead to specify and coordinate large new user-facing features that encompass multiple code projects.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science/Engineering or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good software engineering skills and knowledge of technical concepts in the context of the web.
• Ability to think in terms of users, judge and prioritize features, and convert them into technical requirements.
• An eye for detail and for the big picture.
• Combination of knowledge of software development with a business sense, an interest in UX, and strong analytical skills.
