Role Description
This is a senior individual contributor role. As Product Director of Ecosystem & Partnerships, you will report directly to the VP of Product and evolve the ecosystem strategy for Life360 β defining which external partners, integrations, and platforms can meaningfully expand the value we deliver to members and their families.

Operate in zero-to-one territory: building hypotheses about how partnerships can unlock new use cases or deepen engagement.

Design lightweight experiments to test hypotheses, interpret results, and determine whatβs worth scaling.

Work hand-in-hand with Life360βs BD team to evaluate potential partners, shape integration concepts, and bring promising opportunities to life as product experiences.
Qualifications
-
12+ years of product management experience, having reached staff, principal, or director-level IC scope.

Demonstrated track record of building new products or lines of business from zero β experience with 0β1 product development is essential.

Experience working on or alongside partnerships, BD, or platform/ecosystem strategy at a consumer or B2C technology company.

Strong strategic thinker who can move fluidly between big-picture vision and hands-on experimentation.

Comfort with ambiguity and rapid learning cycles: form clear hypotheses, design lean tests, and let data guide next steps.

Communicates complex strategy clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.

Collaborative: able to build trust quickly with BD counterparts, external partners, and engineering teams alike.

Familiarity with API-driven integrations, platform partnerships, or connected hardware ecosystems is a plus.

Familiarity with AI-native development environments and product development tools.

Experience working in a fast-moving, mission-driven consumer tech company is strongly preferred.
Requirements

Partner with the VP of Product and BD leadership to define and evolve Life360βs ecosystem strategy.

Develop a structured hypothesis framework for evaluating partnership and integration opportunities.

Design and run rapid experiments to test the value of specific partner verticals and JTBDs.

Work directly with external partners to define integration scopes and align on value propositions.

Synthesize learnings from experiments and partner conversations into clear recommendations.

Build internal business cases for future ecosystem investments, working with Finance, Legal, and Engineering.

Serve as the connective tissue between BD, Product, and Engineering.
