Role Description

MARIEMUR is looking for a Product Development Coordinator to support the timely and efficient launch of new products into production. The person in this role will:

• Coordinate the operational stages of product development.
• Ensure effective collaboration between the Product Development Lead and the Supply Chain team.
• Monitor timelines and ensure that products are ready for bulk production.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Production Coordination, Apparel Development, Product Development Coordination, or a similar role.
• Experience in the fashion or apparel industry.
• Experience working with international manufacturers.
• Understanding of product development and production launch processes.
• Experience working with Tech Packs, specifications, and production documentation.
• Experience coordinating samples, fittings, production timelines, and communication with manufacturers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience working with Notion.
• Strong written English and confidence communicating with international manufacturers and partners.
• Fluent Ukrainian or Russian is required!

Requirements

• Coordinate the operational stages of the product development process.
• Communicate with factories and suppliers regarding product development, samples, specifications, timelines, and production requirements.
• Track the status of each sample and ensure that all development stages are completed on time.
• Plan and coordinate fittings, collect updates, and monitor the implementation of required changes.
• Coordinate the production launch after the final sample has been approved.
• Maintain the product development calendar and monitor deadlines.
• Identify and resolve potential delays and production risks.
• Coordinate product inspections.
• Monitor production readiness before launch.
• Ensure the timely handover of approved products to the Supply Chain team.
• Collect product costing from manufacturers and monitor alignment with the agreed target cost.
• Request and track prices, MOQs, lead times, samples, and technical specifications.
• Source materials, trims, hardware, and other components according to the technical brief.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding costs, production timelines, MOQs, technical details, and samples.
• Conduct comparative analyses of suppliers, manufacturers, and materials.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of factories, suppliers, materials, and components.
• Ensure that Tech Packs and other production documentation remain complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Ensure the timely delivery of specifications and final documentation to manufacturers.
• Maintain accurate product Master Data.
• Create tasks for product record development in internal systems and monitor their timely and accurate completion.
• Verify that all required technical documentation is complete before production begins.
• Coordinate packaging development for new products.
• Monitor the production of packaging materials.
• Ensure that packaging is ready before bulk production begins.
