Role Description

Our Principal Technical Product Owner - DoiT Partner Platform will be an integral part of our Product Management team. This role is based remotely in the East US, Canada, the UK or Ireland.

We’re hiring a Principal Technical Product Owner to drive the strategy, rapid delivery, and iteration for the DoiT Partner Platform. This platform enables cloud partners, resellers, and service providers to operate, monetize, and scale their cloud businesses across major hyperscalers. The platform is designed to help partners manage the operational and financial complexity of the cloud ecosystem, including:

• Cloud billing
• Margin management
• Customer lifecycle workflows
• Partner-led service delivery

This senior role is built for a leader with a "technical founder" mindset. You will act as the tip of the spear for all DoiT Partner Platform initiatives, serving as a leader amongst the product team to guide the broader product vision and set the standard for execution.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Delivery
  • Act as the "tip of the spear" for the DoiT Partner Platform.
  • Serve as the foremost product authority and a leader amongst peers.
  • Own the overarching strategy, delivery, iteration, and learning velocity for major platform components.
  • Partner with VP-level leadership to define strategic direction.
  • Direct and mentor other Technical Product Owners.
  • Drive the feedback loop across teams: discover → define → build → release → measure → iterate.
  • Review technical designs and understand their impact on delivery timelines.
• Deep Partner & Ecosystem Understanding
  • Leverage hands-on experience within the cloud ecosystem.
  • Develop deep empathy for the workflows of cloud partners.
  • Identify friction, gaps, and strategic opportunities to improve partner operations.
• Cloud Billing & Partner Operations Expertise
  • Strong understanding of cloud billing constructs and partner incentives.
  • Help shape complex platform capabilities in areas such as:
    • Multi-cloud billing aggregation
    • Partner margin and discount models
    • Customer invoicing and revenue operations
    • Usage and cost transparency
    • Marketplace and private offer workflows
• Executive & Partner Validation
  • Speak frequently with key partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Engage deeply with executive stakeholders at cloud partners.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently to build trust and consensus.
• Engineering-Embedded Technical Product Ownership
  • Operate as a core leader working closely with Engineering leaders.
  • Partner with Engineering leads on sequencing and delivery planning.
  • Ensure components are cohesive across UX, APIs, data, and operational behavior.
• Quality, Outcomes, Trust & Governance
  • Define success metrics for the platform portfolio.
  • Instrument learning to ensure measurable releases.
  • Ensure platform capabilities account for operational realities.

Qualifications

• Extensive product leadership experience with 10+ years in the cloud ecosystem.
• Proven ability to act as a "player-coach" in product management.
• Strong experience with cloud billing systems and revenue operations.
• Deep understanding of the cloud partner ecosystem.
• Experience building or operating platforms for channel-driven business models.
• Strong product sense for turning operational problems into clear scope.
• Technical fluency in cloud fundamentals and APIs across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.
• Coding experience is a plus.
• Must have demonstrated experience using AI to accelerate product specifications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage deeply with stakeholders.
• A bias for action and continuous improvement.
