[Hiring] Principal Product Operations Manager @Socure

Role Description

Product Operations exists to give product teams the systems, data, and processes they need to plan, prioritize, and deliver well. This role sits at the center of that discipline, owning:

• The tools and systems product teams plan and work in.
• The reporting and analytics that give everyone visibility into what's happening.
• The process that makes planning and delivery repeatable.
• The ongoing work of keeping strategy and execution connected as priorities shift.

We run Product Operations as a hybrid centralized/embedded model. This role sits in the centralized hub, serving every product team consistently.

We're a small team, so this role is intentionally broad, encompassing:

• Owning the tools, reporting, and processes.
• Flexibility to shift emphasis as priorities and team size change.

What You'll Do

• Own the product systems & tools stack:
• Administer and configure the core product management / roadmapping platform.
• Own the connection between the product management platform and the engineering work-tracking system.
• Manage the broader product tech stack.
• Build and maintain the intake and prioritization workflows.
• Document system configuration and standard operating procedures.
• Support reporting & analytics for the Product Org:
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports.
• Define and track core product operations metrics.
• Centralize and facilitate Product Performance metrics definition.
• Partner with Finance, Sales/RevOps, and Engineering.
• Support recurring reporting cadences.
• Monitor data quality and drive hygiene standards.
• Drive process, efficiency & team enablement:
• Design and document repeatable processes.
• Identify friction points and manual, duplicative work.
• Build templates, playbooks, and checklists.
• Act as the go-to resource for product managers.
• Facilitate cross-functional handoffs.
• Look for opportunities to standardize processes.
• Keep strategy and execution aligned:
• Partner with product leadership to translate strategy into a trackable roadmap.
• Run the rhythm of planning.
• Monitor progress against strategic priorities.
• Support trade-off and prioritization conversations.
• Ensure work ladders up to company-level strategic themes.
• Close the loop after major planning moments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Operations, Business/Sales Operations, or a Product Analyst/Management role.
• Hands-on experience with product roadmapping/PPM tools and work-tracking tools.
• Comfort building dashboards and reports.
• Use of LLM-based tools to augment workflows.
• Experience designing and documenting repeatable processes.
• Working knowledge of PDLC and SDLC processes.
• Comfort facilitating conversations on strategic priorities.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A generalist mindset with comfort in technical configuration, process design, and data/reporting.
• A bias toward noticing inefficiency and fixing it.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously on a small, fast-moving team.
