In this role, your team will own core platforms powering Blink's mission to make prescription medications accessible and affordable for everyone. You will lead a team of software engineers responsible for creating and evolving underlying systems to scale with Blink's expected hypergrowth. You are passionate about building and reinforcing a modern engineering culture, one where AI-augmented development, experimentation, and technical innovation are part of how the team works every day, not afterthoughts. Disrupt and overhaul Americaβs healthcare industry by providing technical leadership to build, develop and scale proprietary Blink technology

Fluent in modern infrastructure concepts including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc), containerization, SOA architecture, and CI/CD

Opinionated about how AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and AI-assisted testing, code review, and documentation practices can accelerate engineering teams, and active in bringing that perspective to your team

Requirements

7+ years professional experience in software development, including 2+ years in a people management role

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Experience with some of our tech stack, including Python, Django, AWS, Kubernetes and Linux and tools such as DataDog, Kibana, New Relic, and PagerDuty

Experience architecting and implementing high performance and large scale distributed systems

Demonstrated ability to evaluate, adopt, and scale AI-assisted development tooling across an engineering team, with a point of view on where these tools accelerate velocity and where they require human judgment

Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, AI-powered product features, or ML platform infrastructure is a plus
